Acoustic Prototype

Novax 6-string Acoustic Prototype

Ralph's been busy prototyping an acoustic model as a way to get the new shop running. This model embodies some of the ideas that he's been wanting to try out, and he's quite pleased with the results. It has a big, open sound that belies its size -- the lower bout is 15".

It has an asymmetrical shape that allows for optimal bridge location relative to the center of the top plate.

It uses our exclusive 'XR' scale length neck so it retains clarity and punch when 'drop tuning,' and it has a powerful, clear bass.

Ralph also wanted to try an 'X braced' back on this model. He's pleased with the sound, and it will be included on future models.

Also in the works is an 'electric-acoustic' version of this guitar, with a magnectic neck pickup and piezo bridge transducer. We'll post photos in the future.
